Weather

Partly to mostly cloudy with even a few errant snowflakes! Mild, but breezy.

Snowpack

The snowpack is fully into spring mode with drainage well established on most slopes. Warm daytime temperatures continue, but solid overnight freezes the last few nights have helped solidify the snowpack and establish a good diurnal melt/freeze cycle. All slopes were solidly frozen in the morning. South and east facing slopes were saturated and punchy by noon (best avoided at that point).

Avalanche

Freezing nighttime temperatures have tamped down the the wet avalanche cycle, though we continue to see slides that ran with warming late last week/weekend.
