Spent Sat & Sun camping and skiing in the park. Skinned from trailhead at Gibsons on new snow but didn't encounter any real base until around 1750. Above 1800 skiing was good. We stuck to windloaded areas N-NE where coverage was best. Variable melt-freeze base to the ground - 75cm - 1m deep on lee slopes. Sunday saw 30-45 cm of loose wind blown powder on top of this supportive base. Light winds overnight. Some small windslabbing on ridge tops in new snow. Temps remained cold.
