Avalanche control with explosives on Whymper south. Evidence of previous activity during the storm last 48 hours. We triggered a size 2 and a size 3. Size 3 resulted from dropping a large cornice on the slope below which triggered a slab and ran a long distance. Hard to tell, but it seemed like the slab was recent storm snow and not down to the deeper, persistent layers.
