Extremely deep snow conditions even at lower elevations. 90+ cm dry powder on top of base at treeline and below. Some cracking observed on north and northeast aspects at approx. 5800'. Whumpfs noted on similar aspect in one location. Wind transport and loading on lee slopes in more open areas. We stayed on low slopes and at lower elevations all day; didn't need to go anywhere else.
