Results we got today: SE facing 20 degree slope. CTE 2 SP at 260cm and CTM 2 RP at 240cm both laying on facets. Temperature gradients every 10 cm within those layers were over 2 or 3 degrees, crystals will be growing. There's an obvious windslab laying there too. The mid November crust looks well bonded. Surface Hoar wasn't really happening down there because a thick fog stayed all day from the lake to the surrounding ridges.
