Weather

Partly cloudy and very warm before noon with increasing clouds--> overcast in the afternoon.

Snowpack

While the snowpack height has settled quite a bit with recent warm temperatures, it remains touchy in many areas. We continue to observe cracking and collapsing in untracked terrain- unusual for this late in the season. Snow pit tests also continue to show propagating results with moderate effort (ECTP 17 below the January snowfall). The snowpack has grown increasingly complex with recent snowfall, wind events, and now warming and varies a great deal from one slope to the next.

Avalanche

No new slides noted, though we continue to spot slides that ran in the last cycle over the weekend.
