We went up a South and East facing slope and stayed away from steeper slopes. We were stopped by hard snow on the safest skin up. The better snow was on the south most aspect or in gullies (which we avoided because of overhead hazards) - we didn't check the north aspect as it was steeper. The sun was warm but the snow didn't become noticeably wet. There was no wind, bluebird skies and great powder to ride at low elevation. Now this MIN is likely not very valuable after the weekend dump...but yeah, Friday was a stellar day.
