Time:846 Incline: 25 Aspect: NW Elevation: 1943 Overcast, No precip in 24hrs, 10cm’s in 48 hours. Air temp: -11 The layer of interest was the early Nov rain/warming event. It was found at 88cm with a P hardness, and surprisingly 3.5cm’s thick. Another layer of interest, a melt/freeze layer at 125cm’s. Overall the snowpack seemed to be bonding well for the time being at the prominent interfaces. Test results: ECTN12 @ 126cm - uneven fracture on Melt/freeze layer CTM4 @ 135cm - poor shear quality (confidence poor on this test - column potentially unstable) Temperature gradient: HS: 175cm t0= -11 T10 = -6 T20 = -5.4 T30 = -5.4 T40 = -4.5 T50 = -4.4 T60 = -3.9 T70 = -3.5 T80 = -3.3 T90 = -3.2 T100 = -2.6 T110 = -2.5
