BKN skies, calm winds, no precip, and the temperature was 15F.

Snowpack

The snow was supportable to travel on skis, making for easier travel than I had expected today. Hs in the upper Spider Slide (southwest, BTL) was about 30cm. The Hs in the west and northwest facing start zones in the Narrows ranged from 75cm to 1m, with a few deeper, drifted areas in the northern end of the zone. I found several buried melt-freeze crusts in a pit on a more or less due west aspect. These crusts were not present probing around where the aspect tended more towards northwest, and the slab felt a little softer here as well.
