Strong Winds from W, light snow, below freezing temps.

Snowpack

Problem layer is 30-50cm deep and consists of F facets and is weaker than layers above it. This layer has at least 5 yellow flags or lemons. Pit results BTL on E facing slopes showed little slab structure. NTL, tests slopes facing NE cracked and separated under skier weight. Snow was actively loading all day.
