West of Broome Hut, SE, 11650' Type: HS Trigger: AS Size: D1 Slab Dimensions and Fall: 1.5 x 30 x 15 m Bed Surface: Likely O, but U SZ and Terminus Position: T, BP Deposit Dimensions: Form / Age Weak Layer & BS: U, but likely old faceted snow Deposit Dimensions: 1.5 x 30 x 15 m Slab was remote triggered by skier skinning up 100' adjacent to avalanche. Fracture propagated to convex rollover on small terrain feature, triggering the wind loaded slope.
