Despite a very cold start alpine temps reached -15 and with no wind it was downright balmy. Surprisingly decent turns off the south aspect of panarama ridge. Direct south, steep aspects had remnant windslap that was decomposing. North and east aspects had 10cm hard windslab with easy clean hand shears but would not crack or collapse of ski cutting small rollers. Fast cold and good coverage on Taylor Lake Trail. A few north couloirs skied by others today as well.
