Weather

Clear skies with a few high clouds. Temperatures quickly warmed to 38 deg @ 1000 AM. NW winds subsided this afternoon and L winds at the base added to more warming at lower elevations.

Snowpack

With better visibility today it appears our last wind event brought a dust layer on top of all the scattered debris. Snow surfaces warmed slowly after two good days of freezing temps. EBM softened @ 1130, S aspects @ 1230, and W aspects after 1400. Higher elevations remained supportive with the top 15-20 cm's getting wet and sloppy. Lower elevation W was approaching isothermal this afternoon but I think it hung in there? Summary: Variable wet snow skiing with short windows of corn skiing.
