-2 C and mostly calm by the road, spicy driving but the road got plowed eventually. Whumphfing in the packed up track between 1800 and 2000m. 10 cars out today. Good skiing but you'll have to hunt around a bit for the untracked. Dug a snow profile on West aspect at 2300m. HS 130cm Right side up snow pack from Fist to pencil expect the bottom 35 cm where there is 1-3 mm facets above the crust 2-4 mm depth hoar below. Got moderate compression result down 115cm (sudden collapse) in the depth hoar below the crust. Tent ridge looked very cross loaded, be careful there.
