Skiing in the Boom Lake area on south facing, solar slopes. Intentional ski cut above a convexity triggered a release on a steep convex feature on the Feb 16th layer. The slab released roughly 40cms down and propagated surprisingly far given the size of the feature (30m wide, 30m long). South-East facing feature with intense solar input.
Avalanche
Small size 1 triggered on a convex feature while intentionally placing a ski cut/hard turn above the convexity. Significant solar input resulted in a size 1 slide.
