Skied in the farm area Dec 6-8. 15cm of snow fell on Dec 6 afternoon/evening. Light winds from the NE. Good ski quality with minor wind effect in the alpine. No whumping, cracking, or evidence of natural avalanches. Dug a quick pit at @1650 m, SE aspect, CTM15 RP down 35cm on recent storm for the past week. Ski cut a sz 1 windslab out of a steep, south facing chute. Ski cut numerous steep rolls at treeline and below, did not produce any releases.
Weather
Light winds out of the NE. Some plumes coming off larger adjacent peaks in the area, minimal snow transport where we were skiing
Snowpack
Moderate RP result down 35cm, storm snow from last week (started Feb 3). Likely on a combination of facets/hard windslab.
Avalanche
Ski cut a size 1 out of a steep south face in the alpine. Small wind slab immediately on lee side of ridge. Bed surface was a firm sun-crust, small slab entrained loose snow and ran to bench below.
