Snowpack
On a SE aspect above treeline the snowpack was moist to the ground with evidence of water percolating down through the upper 75cm or so of the snowpack. The upper 75cm consisted of melt forms and ice forms, while the lower 100cm consisted of rounds and rounding depth hoar. Snow temps were 0C in the upper meter of the snopwack. See snow pit profile for more detail.
