Resort reported 15" in the past 24 hours. Snow stake at the radio towers showed 79"
Avalanche
Several natural releases within the past 24 hours all within the new snow. A ski cut in Dead Tree chute (10,000' N aspect) released the new snow 12"-15" but did not step down into the older layers. Several natural and ski triggered releases ran approximately 150' vertical feet. The lower canyon had numerous natural releases most in the R1-D1 category running 250'-400' vertical feet. A slab released below hells wall 6"-12", deep 50' wide and ran to the top of the Nostrils (150'-200').
