Weather

Gusty swirling winds above tree line. Low winds BTL. Constant cloud cover, cold temps up high

Snowpack

Highly wind dependent. Protected areas BTL were `8" of soft snow, Had creamy wind snow, grabby wind snow, hard wind snow, Dug an approximately 1M deep pit near bottom of east facing couloir to assess wind slab concerns. Result was ECTN at ~30cm down.

Avalanche

Saw debris from what appeared to be a shallow wind slab on a north facing ramp near Taylor peak. Crow looked to be at ~12,500' elevation.
