Weather

At treeline moderate to strong north winds overnight, light north winds during the day, overcast, lightly snowing

Snowpack

11,600’ ESE Meadow on Madonna Peak, approx. 100 square foot area collapsed with shooting cracks on a 30 degree slope. There was a new wind slab over wind board then facets to the ground, with a shallow snowpack. We were finding shallower points throughout the day and skis were penetrating to facets.
