Weather

SCT skies with temps above freezing. Gusty southwest winds were moving snow near and above treeline.

Snowpack

Weak and faceted in a nutshell. On a north aspect below treeline the Hs was around 50cm and I found a 4F- "slab" sitting under about 10cm of facets and on top of about 20cm of depth hoar. ECTX results, with the column disintegrating during the tests. Surface conditions were faceted everywhere I traveled.
