Quick pit while skinning up to White Queen ridge line. 100cm approx of new storm snow. Lower crust complex (Dec4?) was approx 130cm deep Extended column test yielded no results, surprisingly. Fake rutschblock (stomping on snow above pit) caused a sudden planar fracture across the whole block. Observed a point release on the future whales back slide. No photo unfortunately. A cookie pulled out on the loaded northerly feature, maybe around 1pm ? Looked natural or point release. Classic “V” with fracture profile then into a Diamond because it self arrested in the alpine. Wish I had a photo, sorry. Continued on to ski some mellow slopes and passed the aftermath driving out.
