Surprisingly good conditions on the Chick-a-boom traverse. We had stormy weather throughout the day (moderate winds from the SW), but surprisingly the wind wasn't affecting the snow (yet). We saw some old large slab activity in both valley's from last weeks warm-up, but no new avalanches. The 10-15cm of new snow was bonding well.

Consistent moderate winds from the SW, but it wasn't affecting the snow lower on the runs yet. Looked like lots of wind at ridge-tops.
