Skied up NE ridge of bombtram to the North summit. Bootpacked a few short steep sections on the ridge up. Skied from the North summit of bombtram down the NW face and then back into the NE bowl. Skiied out the gully into box canyon. Weather was sunny with few clouds in the morning but cloud cover increased throughout the day. Wind was mostly calm with moderate gusts from the SW. Snow was very soft right from the cars at box canyon up into the NE bowl. The NW face and summit area was soft but wind affected. Dug a hasty snow pit 1m deep in sheltered location at upper East end of the NE bowl (at pin location). Tested ECTH28 down 25cm, uneven failure, no propagation observed. Shooting cracks observed on steep sections of wind affected snow. Minor sluffs were observed at the entrance to the narrow gully leading to box canyon and just above on the steep slope leading down to the lower bench.
