Pretty notable crust all the way up the zone, but interestingly it went from on the surface near the bottom to multiple inches down towards the top. It was warm in town during the week so not surprised it was forming (even in NE/shaded areas), but was surprised to see it progress further into the snowpack. Wind loading or additional snowfall higher up potentially?
