Weather
Warm temperatures and very light winds at pass level. Clouds were moving in quickly from the southwest by mid-afternoon.
Snowpack
Recent snows mostly have melted off sun-exposed slopes below 10,000. This includes Henry Brown and most of the other paths on Coal Bank and Molas. Higher elevation paths and those with a more northerly tilt were holding between 3 to 6" of moist snow. Some pockets of older facets were still hanging on in shady paths like Red Mountain Pass, and some very small, harmless loose snow slides ran, probably yesterday afternoon. This weekend's snow was setting up quickly with the warm weather today. With the exception of some shaded pockets, the recent snow was moist rounds. Some rollerballs were visible in Blue Point, indicating that the snow had gotten moist or wet well up into the upper part of the path.
