Broken cloud cover, Light winds with moderate gusts WNW, 11,800 ft Temp near freezing Snowfall S -1 on and off through out the afternoon

Snowpack

SE- SSE aspect, 11,800 ft wind blown new snow unsupported upper layers sitting on thin sun crust over 1F dense mid pack slab of varying thickness sitting on rounding facets and (somewhat wet) depth hoar grains to ground. Facets showed signs of rounding , we were able to make facet snowballs. 1.5 meter average height of snow
