Avalanche

Unsurprisingly, and as I'm sure you know, there were cornices collapses triggering R1-2 and D1-2 wet loose avalanches on at least half of the steep above treeline avalanche paths that are topped with cornices. Also, (and in addition to the previously reported wet slab in the Apron of High Trail Cliffs), we observed another wet slab in the Current Creek Cirque / The Indians. Photo is attached. ESE aspect, 12,000' elevation, above treeline, ran approximately 300' vertical. Probably went on Sunday or Monday judging by the melting as the sliding surface was ground, and comparing it to the melting on the wet slab in the Apron. N-WS-G-R2-D2.
