A snowmobile was towing a snowboarder in Old Monarch Pass Road. The snowboarder triggered the slab slide. They were unaware of slide. My partner and I were Just below run out zone, a foot . Did not get buried, nor injured. Had slide been higher it would have been serious. This area is typically frequented by xc skiers and snowshoerss and Monarch skiers skiing out of bounds. I have skied and hiked this road for 28’years and have never seen a slide in the road. Stay safe out there.
