Weather

34 degrees, mix of rain and snow.

Snowpack

Snow has been on the north aspects since the thanksgiving storm cycle. The snowpack is very shallow, maybe 18"-24" at most.

Avalanche

Several loose wet avalanches are visible on the hogback on NW to NE aspects with a few running the whole length of the mountainside. Caltopo indicates slope angles over 40 degrees in the chutes that slid. Elevations go from 5800' at the base of the slope to approx. 7000' at the top of the chutes. Debris almost ran out to the county road below the slope.
