Weather

The day started clear, but clouds moved in during the morning hours. Overcast and mild with calm winds at pass level at the time of this observation.

Snowpack

The storm snow has settled and compacted into a ~4f-hard layer. Master stakes at our study plots showed about 4" of settlement since Monday. Today and tonight's mild and cloudy weather should help this along. Sunny areas, like Henry Brown have developed a 2 cm M/F crust and the snow underneath was moist, so this will likely thicken some tonight. Shady areas, like West Lime, have cold snow but there has still been significant settlement, 4", similar to the other stakes, with F-hard snow at the surface, transitioning to ~1F at the old/new interface.

Avalanche

No new activity observed. Minimal sluffing from the last storm.
