Watersprite

Snow quality was best in the cold valley bottom (below 1000m) where the surface was soft and faceted with medium sized surface hoar on top. Higher up the surface was mostly moist and/or crusty. Saw some old debris on a fan across the lake but couldn’t see the start zone (at least several days old). No signs of instability, but didn’t make it to the alpine.
