11 F. Mostly cloudy, a bit of light snow, sun peeking through for a couple hours in the morning. 20 to 30 mostly S wind, a bit SW at times. Steady wind all morning. North/northeast facing, 11,000'. Slope 30 degrees at the top, lower angle below.

Snowpack

15 to 18" new snow overnight on top of layers that were sun-crusted over past week.

Avalanche

Slough broke on first turn off top of ridge. Did not entrain more snow; did not break into layers below.
