Heavy sloughing that in steeper sections evolved into a size 0.5. Slough was made up mostly of dense wind effected snow approximately 6 cm thick. In places shelter from wind (treed areas) the snow was very loose facets. Shifted the original ski plan from main chute to the treed ridge skiers left to stay in the trees.
