Pretty wind affected at the Fraser Chutes today. We hoped to find protected pockets of soft snow but the changing wind directions made for wind affected snow on most slopes. We managed to find some nice snow on a south west facing slope and got some great turns in around 1100m. Anything higher than 1150m was pretty hard. Drum like sounds and some whumpfing as we skinned up past 1150m.

Wind was moderate all afternoon coming from the west and blowing crossways across the slope. You could see it loading snow on the slopes over the course of the day.
