Report is for January 5th not the 4th Variable snow conditions. From super deep powder to hard wind pack on the ridges. Some upside down snow right at tree line from wind. Top skied well down to the trees which weren’t great but as soon as we got lower in the trees it skied well again. Trail breaking was variable - from 60cm to 0

Report is for January 5th not the 4th Strong winds before we skied from the west - everything on the ridge was scoured and it was hard to sink an edge in. Little bit of sun to start the day. Snow started falling by 2 and was heavy when we left at 3:30

Report is for January 5th not the 4th Dug one pit at top of run. Failure at CTM 12 down 10cm - not a cohesive slab. Second failure was down 40-50cm and was cohesive. Slab just dropped, did not slide off. Slope was mellow - 25-30 degrees. No signs of avalanches that side of valley. Yak had a couple size 1 and 2’s
