Avalanche
Group of 4 snowmobiling from the cement creek Parking on c rd 23. We came up the north east saddle of Hurricane peak and stoped at a small wind lip cornice on the edge of the saddle looking east at California mnt to the east. One rider in our group dropped into the canyon and came back up to high mark under us for tge peak of hurricane, He entered an area that was definitely wind loaded below the cornice and as he exited traveling up and the the south he triggered a wind slab at what looked like a shallow trigger spot where the wind loaded snow was tapered to less than a foot. What was interesting about this slide was that the crack worked it’s way back towards the three of us still above the area on a different aspect and the crack came up into the cornice and around and above us which caused a small slide.
