16” of snow slid on top of old facets about 24” up from the ground.

Avalanche

2 separate avalanches, triggered independently of each other by skier. Both at 11,000’. Both crowns ~ 16”. Both approximately 50’ wide running 175’ vertically. 2nd avalanche left a debris pile 4’ deep.
