Paul Ridge (Friday, Jan 7). 30-45cm recent storm snow. Height of snow 245cm @ 1600m. We found excellent skiing off Paul Ridge. No avalanche results from skier traffic, but we stuck to lower angle, supported terrain, and avoided exposure to terrain traps. We observed several minor natural storm slab avalanches out of steep terrain to size 0.5. We saw several other parties in the area, however we were the only ones skiing on the main runs.
