Weather
Lingering clouds and snow with patches of occasionally sun. Winds remained steady moderate out of SSW and were transporting more snow today than Thursday.
Snowpack
Storm snow became slabbier since Thursday, especially on Near- and Above- treeline slopes where winds are drifting new snow, N - E. Alpine snow is has been rearranged. Experienced some localized cracking in stiffer wind drifted snow on a N aspect at TL. Stuck to a more protected feature with less drifting. BTL, northerlies remains soft and cold, but Easterlies have thickened.
Avalanche
No new slabs observed, cracks, whumphs, or other signs instability. WNW aspect on Red 2 had some debris size 1.5 in its cross loaded gully- loose? Or small slab.
