Sunny and high winds. If I would have to guess wind gust up to 30 or 40 mph, mountain range behind st. Elmo near Buena Vista. 12,400 ft

Same mountain range, snow pack was wind torn, snow pack was very unstable, hard on top and very sugary on the bottom.
