St Nik and Wapta

Hi All,

I guided an ascent of St Nik on the Wapta yesterday. Due to reports of the broken glacier on the west side, we approached under the NE Buttress and wrapped around to the col between Olive and St Nik. Overall, we found favourable travel conditions with a light overnight freeze and up to 20 centimetres of new snow at higher elevations.
