Weather

Crisp temps and lingering scuzzy clouds near ridgetops in the am kept the warmup from happening too fast. Winds were moderate out of the North, but blowing snow was minimal, and localized to near ridgelines. By afternoon, sunny slopes and lower elevations turned sticky.

Snowpack

In this area, the storm snow was not widely rearranged by the northerly winds, and the storm loads appear light enough to not have drastically changed the hazard. New snow is bonded well to even the crusty surfaces underneath. No windslabbed snow found.

Avalanche

No slabs seen on S, W, or N aspects. A couple small dry loose off rocky areas.
