Snowpack

On South aspect BTL the snow surface crust was getting wet down 1 to 2 cm from the surface. A mix of crusts and facets layers below the surface. ATL, below ridge tops: a 1F wind slab is sitting above a crust and weak 4F- facet layer. this wind slab is reactive (and avalanched)

Avalanche

Avalanche was triggered from below the ridge top. The trigger point was in location where a boulder was buried.
