Weather
Cloudy skies, light snow, and light winds on the 21st. Clouds lingered along the Divide on the 22nd with light winds. Temperatures were mild, but felt colder. A storm total of 3.5" of new snow with 0.35" of water content was measured at the CAIC Snow Study Plot at Wolf Creek Pass.
Snowpack
We mostly traveled on NW-N-E aspects near and below treeline. and found no signs of instability. Modest high density snowfalls with a brief break between events over the last few days have left a pretty solid upper snowpack.
