Beautiful day with fantastic views and good snow conditions. The main feature was warm temperatures at high elevations. At 1pm the temperature at 2100 m was 0C and rising. Inversion conditions are setting up, with valley fog down low and warm alpine temperatures. The snowpack is well consolidated and we saw no signs of instability. The snow surface was dry on north aspects, moist on sunny slopes. A crust will form overnight where the snow has became moist.
