Observation tour to see how snowpack is holding up. N faces with sastrugi at alpine and windslab above 1800m. Lots of naturals on NW NE and N aspects above treeline. Scattered high cloud, winds light, temps -2 to zero. Hs 165 at 1860m. Test pit on NW aspect, 35 deg slope. CTM 18 on 25cms storm snow. Shovel shear presented RP at 65cms on 1mm faceted grains.
