A very pleasant approach to Lily Glacier (trail kindly broken by another group ahead of us) in the warm temperatures and shelter. Once up on the glacier the met conditions took a little turn with cloud closing in and wind. Straightforward ascent with some wind effect (expected) but nothing that made us overly nervous. A quick picnic in the relative shelter of Dome then we crossed over into the Asulkan drainage for some initially wind hammered turns, which got significantly better as we descended a little round the Cleaver. Very flat light was the only minor complaint. During the ski out we noticed lots of loose wet debris on the skintrack and some heavy treebombs. The creek looked positively appealing for a swim, will bring the boardies next time.
