Toured in the sun with clouds coming in every so often throughout the morning. Just after 2pm it started snowing quite a bit for 2 hours. Fantastic powder laps down cowboy ridge. ECTN results from our lunchtime pit on an eastern aspect ~25 degree slope at 1960m. Snow depth was 300cm at this point. We observed a western wind with wind scoured ridges in certain spots.
Snowpack
Snowpack was 300cm at 1960m today at the Kees and Claire Hut. We performed an ECT and got no triggering up to 30. Human weight on the column exposed an uneven break on a crust layer 50cm deep, without propogation.
