Snowpack

Hard results down 15 cm on a storm interface and 30 cm on facets below the early Dec crust. Notable was the thin layer of depth hoar on the ground at this location. Typically it is much more developed here at this time of year. However, it is likely more evident further out in the open where the pack is shallower. Conditions are marginal in much of the bowl at this time, as the wind has ripped the snow out of many of the normal ski lines. Watch for rocks in areas that you'd normally ski with confidence.
